The need for new energy sources has gradually increased as a result of the recent prominent potential growth of Turkey through economic, sociological and technological figures.

In order to response to this demand ideally with “clean and renewable” technologies; Akgün Group has actualized Akgün Energy in 2007 which is one of its affiliates.

With its completed construction by Akgün Energy in Üzümlü town of Erzincan, Üzümlü HEPP Project is the first large investment of the company in energy industry with its 12,416 Mw capacity. The plant that is completely constructed by Akgün Construction has been put into use in 1 year despite the tough geographical conditions.

In all the projects executed by Akgün Energy cooperating with specialist engineers and teams; it will continue to work in order to meet the energy demand of the country ideally and to develop environment-friendly and renewable energy.
